How to Factory Reset Arista Switch

Using a console cable, connect to the device and restart it.

1. Press ctrl+c to enter Aboot shell when prompted.


2. Type the following commands:

Aboot# cd /mnt/flash
Aboot# rm startup-config
Aboot# exit



3. The above will then reset the device with factory defaults.


4. Default admin login is u: admin with no password.
